I am a fifty-something father of two and, by formation, I am a Plant Physiologist who spent the past 10+ years working as a Professor and Research Group Leader at the Centro de Biotecnología y Genómica de Plantas (UPM-INA/CSIC) in Madrid, Spain. I have a diploma in Biology and my work has been featured in numerous top-tier journals, including Plant Journal, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA, Plant Cell and Environment, and Plant Molecular Biology. Apart from that, I am an autodidactic hobby photographer, enthusiastic drone pilot, and passionated biker, who likes to be outside to enjoy nature.
