As a scientist, I have been lucky enough to have a career that occasionally sends me far beyond the walls of a laboratory. Over the years, my work has taken me to places as distant and diverse as Australia, Japan, Latin America, and Hawaii. Destinations that many people dream of visiting, and that I have had the privilege to explore along the way.
With every journey, I have tried to absorb as much of the world’s cultural and natural richness as possible. From bustling cities to remote landscapes, each trip has offered something unique—stories, colours, sounds, and encounters that stay with me long after returning home.
